Fahrenheit Studio Launches JJ Burns Financial Brand
Transforms frequent CNBC guest’s wealth management advisory into standalone brand
LOS ANGELES, CA—October 16, 2013—Branding and design firm Fahrenheit Studio today launched a new brand for New York-based JJ Burns & Company, which provides comprehensive wealth management services for business executives, high-net-worth individuals, trusts and endowments, and specializes in heritage planning.
The company’s CEO, JJ Burns, is a personality who appears frequently on national networks such as CNBC. His company needed a marketing mechanism to take advantage of his growing popularity and to better connect it to the company’s mission.
“While technology has revolutionized the financial world, online branding and lead generation for many firms are still pre-Internet,” says Fahrenheit Principal Robert Weitz. “Most have the same formulaic ‘Wall Street’ look and feel and they all blend together. JJ realized that design was an opportunity to stand out and connect with customers, particularly as their interactions continue to migrate to mobile devices.”
Fahrenheit Studio helped JJ Burns identify his distinctive style, express his value and position and redesign his brand identity. Fahrenheit created a marketing plan, including an online media presence and monitoring tools. The firm also created a marketing language for Burns that is clear, direct and easy to understand.
“We would appear in mainstream media and have nothing to show for it online. Now, our new web presence helps drive the other aspects of our business. Fahrenheit’s new design has made our customer interaction more efficient and effective. Importantly, when people reach us, we have more clout,” said Burns.
The new JJ Burns brand features:
- Black and white imagery with splashes of color
- Clear simple language
- Responsive web design that formats to any device
- Regional images to establish a sense of “place”
- Video sections that features Burns’ CNBC and other media appearances
Fahrenheit Studio has helped a number of financial services companies find their positions in the marketplace and build brands that stand for excellence and trustworthiness, including John Mauldin, Strategic Wealth Partners and Triton Capital Advisors.
